Expanded colour gamut

Highest quality and resource conservation in print production

We are the experts for the optimised, colour- and resource-saving implementation of your packaging designs with ECG or Multicolor.

Expanded colour gamut extended colour gamut printing is a production technology for extended colour gamut printing, which uses up to seven colours from a fixed colour palette. The otherwise typical basic colours in CMYK printing are expanded to include orange, green and violet as required.

The use of other spot colours or Pantone colours is excluded wherever possible.

In addition to extended colour management, the latest Printing forme and printing plate technologies is the basis for this high-quality production approach with high colour consistency.

The standardised colour management ensures reliable colour conversion of the output data and exact colour matching. Pre-simulation of the print result with our (halftone) proofs.

ECG Multicolour

In addition to a higher-quality image appearance with vivid and high-contrast images, ECG can also be used to specifically improve the CO2 balance within print production. By reducing the total number of printing inks and colour changes used in the print shop, ink consumption and waste are also reduced.

The presses can be operated with an identical ink set every day, which saves set-up time and material.

With the associated increased Production flexibility - The innovative printing technology - especially for smaller batch sizes - does justice to the increasing variety of brands and variants.

All designs can be reproduced with process stability using the multicolour approach - given sufficient production conditions.

Our realisation with the innovative ECG technology has already won the expert jury of the German Packaging Award 2021 convince.
