The water-based innovation of KODAK Flexcel NX Ultra enables particularly efficient production of high-quality flexo plates. An integrated, solvent- and VOC-free standard for flexo plate production has been created. The well-known KODAK NX quality has been further developed with this system and decisively optimised in terms of handling, sustainability and efficiency.

A decisive advantage is the aspect of Sustainabilitywhich is realised with this innovative solution. Because with the KODAK Flexcel NX Ultra, solvent consumption at Köstlin is specifically reduced and production is more environmentally friendly. The known influencing factors and limitations of typical solvent processing are also significantly reduced.

High-quality flexographic printing clichés can be produced with the new technology at a previously unattainable speed and stability. In terms of adherence to deadlines and variability, this has a decisive positive influence on production at Köstlin.
